Calathea Musaica

$ 32.00

Calathea musaica is one of the hardest to find and most highly sought-after members of the genus, and for good reason. Its chartreuse leaves are characterized by an incredibly intricate web-like pattern of dark green lines that intersect at right angles, creating tiny rectangular sections. The effect is a leaf that looks like an artist's mosaic. Sometimes called the Network Calathea, this striking houseplant is an essential member of any rare plant collection.

Calathea musaica prefers medium to bright indirect light, and should be shielded from direct sun. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feel dry. This plant loves humidity, so mist periodically or keep on a pebble tray.

Ships in a 6" plastic nursery pot. Each pot has multiple clumps; leaves measure about 4-6" long. Some natural variation in size and appearance may occur.

*Limited quantity available. Hand Thrown Ceramic Planter sold separately. Includes detailed care instructions.
