Introduction to Macramé
Make your very own macramé wall hanging on a unique piece of natural driftwood at our newest workshop, an introduction to the craft of decorative knotting. Macramé, simply translated as “fringe,” is believed to have originated with Arabian weavers in the 13th century, and made it’s way around the world due to sailors learning the craft. The possibilities for what to make with macramé are limitless - from jewelry and keychains, to large decorative pieces and plant hangers.
In this all-inclusive class, you will learn the basics of macramé, including how to make simple knots and patterns, and will leave with your own wall-hanging.
